What Chinese New Year Means To Me

Even though I'm not a chinese, every Chinese New Year I will recieve red packets which in chinese is called 'hong bao' from chinese friends. On Chinese New Year , my family and I when to our friends house for some gathering. It was a lot of fun. my friends and I played a lot of games while the adults did what adults always do. After dinner , i recieved one 'hong bao' from a chinese friend but couldn't remember the name. i was very thankful. i went home exhausted but delighted. On the second day of Chinese New Year , i went swimming with my friends. We ate at Macdonalds for breakfast and went to the swimming complex straight. My family and i went home at about 6:00 pm. At home, i did my homework and then went to sleep. i felt very glad too. I had also learned about the true meaning of Chinese New Year , its about good luck and prosperity.
